5 Favourite Pixiv Illustrator


When looking for beautiful and attractive illustration, pixiv is the best place to search for it. There are many illustration that been posted every day, although mostly the illustrators are Japanese. This is because pixiv is actually Japanese online community for artists. But there are some people who are not from Japan. Among all of the famous pixiv illustrator, there are 5 artist that caught my interest with their unique style of drawing.

1. 堀泉インコ

She has a very cute and innocent type of drawing. If you check her pixiv, blog or twitter, you can see a lot of girl illustration. Even her coloring looks feminine and gives out a 'shoujo' feelings. These are two of my favorite illustration of her:




2. Rella
Rella is one of the most famous pixiv artist. She has a unique way of her illustration compared to others. Her idea of the illustration is like out of the box: something that I can't even imagine thinking about it. In the interview, she said that she used Adobe Photoshop CC and her process of creating a single illustration is very complicated. You can look at her artwork more on her pixiv, tumblr and twitter. 3.  a y u
This artist's concept can be said full of cute and fluffiness. If you look at her artwork at first glance, it looks very simple and cute. She often sell her artwork in the form of accessories, cloth, bag, mug and many more. The concept may be looks easy to be made, but her stroke and coloring makes the illustration more special and unique. Follow her on pixiv to know her artwork more beside this:




4. Lpip
If you are a pixiv user, you must heard of this artist name. Her artwork is always on the top 10 daily pixiv art. She is from Korea. What makes me loves her illustration is because her strokes and coloring so smooth and beautiful. She usually draw a girl character with a white background. So simple yet so mesmerizing. 5. 河CY ( Chihaya a.k.a Kawacy )
河CY is one of my favorite male pixiv artist. His illustration is definitely awesome and breathtaking. He is also one of the top pixiv artist that always on the list of top artwork whether daily, weekly or monthly. Art Under Water

Recently I found my friend shared something interesting; it is about a tutorial of illustration under water. I immediately love the tutorial made by the Indonesian artist, even though he/she said that the tutorial was a heavy reference on other artist.
